I have many times demoed a new voice agent to my family in a noisy environment. In the privacy of my office, where my voice is the only voice the AI can hear, these things go very, very well.
However, when you place that same product into a coffee shop or a restaurant or a car, and other voices begin to react as they hear either the lack of quality or the incredible quality, the demo breaks down terribly. The AI can't tell which voice to listen to and has a very difficult time separating the background noise from the purpose noise.
I've been using Krisp probably since the first week of its launch as a noise cancellation tool on my computer. They are, in my mind, the very best people to try and solve this problem. It sounds like they may have done that.
