AI Needs Intelligent Regulations

"There are more regulations around making a sandwich in New York City than there are around potentially world-ending AGI." I actually went looking for this. I watched Tristan Harris on Fareed Zakaria GPS this morning and heard him use this line again.

A quick search shows there are many regulations for sandwiches in NYC. Probably too many, but the rhetorical comparison works. Of course, sandwiches have been around a lot longer.
