The idea of having an eInk frame cycle through various saved photos has intrigued me for years. The quality has never been superb. This review of the Ink Frames from Aura seems to suggest the tech has advanced to the point where I may like it.

"Only 5% of travelers can correctly identify real destination photos in a side-by-side test with AI-generated images." So, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is now certifying its photos. Expect more to follow.

These hidden areas aren't hidden any more. I'm hoping the work required to get to these gems keeps the throngs of people away who would ruin these amazing places. Photographer Arpan Das says "that when he first arrived in the region, he was 'lost for words.' The peaks rise over 6,000 meters (20,000 feet). There are deep valleys, glaciers, and wild rivers. 'You feel small there in the best possible way,' says Das."

I’ve Been Asking This iPhone vs “Good Camera” Question For A While Now

I'm not sure I can count how many times I've asked myself this question. Could my iPhone possibly replace my "good camera" in my travels? I've tested it a couple of times on a couple of trips, and, quite frankly, yes, it's probably good enough, but there are times when "good enough" just isn't "good enough" for me. That's when I always return to my Sony A1.
