Live Video Broadcasting

Posted by Jeff Turner on Saturday, September 13th, 2008

There are a growing number of places that give you the ability to stream video live. I’m sure this list will grow as technology improves and more people join the growing throngs of live video webcasters. Here is a list of the sites I’ve given a shot. Each one has it’s own set of features and benefits. I’ve not used any of them enough to date to make a solid recommendation, but I like ease of Stickam and UStream. I am excited to test Qik.com finally. Qik is mobile live video streaming. (Update: I love Qik.com. It will probably end up in a sidebar here at some point.)

Just wondering if you have any opinion on Hello World, video streaming, broadcasting, video email, podcasting and bogging all in one..
Have you heard of it, and what are your thoughts?

Debbie, I’ve seen Hello World, but I’ve not tried it myself. It doesn’t play well with Mac, so I’ve never bothered to find a workaround to test it. Wish I could be of more assistance.
